The BugBrain brand
Our logo, palette, type, and voice — the system that keeps BugBrain looking and sounding like itself everywhere. Built on design tokens, so the whole identity stays consistent and re-themes from one source.
The mark and the lockup
The teal “b” spiral is the BugBrain mark. It pairs with the wordmark to form the standard lockup used in headers and footers. The mark is a single-color glyph, so it reads on light and dark surfaces alike.
Do
- Use the teal mark on light or dark backgrounds — it’s built to read on both.
- Keep clear space around the mark equal to the height of the “b” glyph.
- Pair the mark with the “BugBrain” wordmark in the standard lockup for headers and footers.
- Scale the mark proportionally; the minimum legible size is 16px.
Don’t
- Don’t recolor the mark, add gradients, or drop shadows onto it.
- Don’t stretch, rotate, or distort the proportions.
- Don’t place the mark on a low-contrast or busy background that hides it.
- Don’t substitute another icon (e.g. a generic dashboard glyph) for the mark.
A teal accent on a quiet neutral stack
Every color is a design token. Swatches below fill from the live CSS variables, so they reflect the current theme — and the hex values are read straight from the token source of truth. Change one file and the whole identity re-themes.
